If you've ever stood at the back of a runway show and thought — I want to be the person who made this happen — I wrote this program for you.

I know what it's like to be on the periphery of this industry. To be the stylist, the PA, the coordinator who can feel the pull of production but doesn't have a clear map for getting there. The fashion event world is notoriously opaque about what producers actually do, how they get hired, and what separates the people who break in from the people who stay stuck in adjacent roles wondering how. I built The Show Producer to be that map.

This curriculum covers the full arc of the job — from translating a designer's vision into a concept deck, to calling the final model out onto the runway. Not the romanticized version. The real one: the production timelines, the vendor contracts, the casting call sheets, the permit headaches, the moment on show day when something goes sideways and you have to solve it in thirty seconds without letting anyone in the front row notice. I take you through all of it because all of it is the job. And I want you to arrive at your first production role having already done the work on paper, so the pressure of the real thing doesn't catch you flat-footed.

I also want to be straight with you about the AI conversation, because it's unavoidable and it matters. The tools reshaping event production are real, they're already in use, and early-career producers who know how to use them fluently are going to have a significant edge. So we don't tiptoe around it — we go straight into the planning tools, the budget forecasting applications, the scheduling systems, and then we talk honestly about where AI should never replace your instincts. This is not a course that hands you a prompt and calls it a skill. It's a course that makes you a sharper producer who also happens to be fluent in the technology.

And then there's the portfolio — because knowing the craft and being able to prove it to a hiring manager are two different things. By the time you finish, you'll have a full set of production documents, a staging plan, a concept deck, a vendor tracker, and a mock show call under your belt. You'll know where to apply, how to network in the industry's actual rooms, and how to talk about your work like someone who belongs in it.

I'm genuinely excited to walk this path with you. The show is about to start — and this time, you're calling it.
